AN ACT OF WORSHIP

Giving is one of the key ways we worship God and grow deeper in our relationship with Him. We give not out of obligation, but out of gratitude—acknowledging that everything we possess is a gift from God. We want you to experience the joy of cheerful giving—not because of what we want from you, but because of what God wants for you.

Your tithes and offerings go to empower the mission and vision of Southside Church as we run hard after God in making real followers of Jesus. By partnering together, God’s work is done more effectively. Select your Southside campus below to begin submitting your donation.

FAQs

  • Tithing is an important part of our obedience to God and is found throughout the Bible. What can reveal a person’s true heart more than money (Luke 12:34)? Tithing is an act of worship. The Bible speaks so strongly of tithing that it is the only place in scripture where God tells us to put Him to the test (Malachi 3:10). From the Bible we see that tithing is the “first fruits” of our income and represents ten percent of our earnings. Tithing is the minimum for those who follow Jesus, but we should strive to give sacrificially, above and beyond. God is not after your money, He is after your heart.

  • Yes! Your gift can be set to weekly, biweekly or monthly for your convenience.

  • Using a debit or credit card is accepted, however using your bank routing number and account number is the most effective way to give online. This minimizes the processing fees acquired by the church.
